My cynical outlook on life?

You could teach Philosophy or become a therapist in many different fields. Sure, you might have to work at SB for a while until you can land a job, but I'm sure that if you are pionate enough about your career you will find a job eventually. Stay involved in sports as much as you can, even if you know you won't go pro. Do what you love, live as if this is all there is. You can still go to college and not end up like everyone else, there is always a way!
