Mouse and Keyboard becomes innactive at OS Login page?

When I turn on my system, my keyboard and mouse works and is visible (Lights on mouse appear illuminated and keyboard functions correctly) I can click on the F8 for Login prefferences such as Safe mode and such. But as soon as I hit the OS Logi page, my mouse shuts down, and my keyboard becomes innactive, I'm not sure what is happening, and before you tell me it's a hardware problem, consider reading what I just wrote. At a specific time in my computer booting, it shuts off with cue. I will reward with best answer :D
