Need to remove a old (american arcoliner) hot water boiler from basement?

I need to remove a old boiler from my basement, I put in a new one 1/2 the size.The problem is that the old boiler is too heavy to move up the basement steps. I hoping to use my saws- all with hack saw blade and cut it into 3 parts.Question is is there any key points that I should cut to make the job easier, like certin bolts etc I can't find a manual on this model it's american arcoliner md #035 thanks
